Default Limping After Lying Down

Recently, Attila started limping after he has been lying down. Whether it is on the floor, on his bed, in his crate, on the couch, etc., once he gets up he has a terrible limp in his back leg. After he walks for a minute, it seems to go away. Other than that, he doesn't limp any other time. He runs, plays, and acts totally normal - it is just when he gets up. We can touch any part of his leg, he doesn't seem to be in any pain. I have no idea what to do for him...thought?

If it's only been a few days try to restrict exercise for a few days and see if that helps. If it's a minor soft tissue pull/strain he'll improve with a bit of rest.

If the limping persists I would suggest you take him to your vet for an examination.
