Hi,
I'm sure there are some people who for one reason or another neutered their dog at 4 years old or later! How was their health for the rest of their life? Basically, how was the dog affected by being neutered late? Thanks for your input |

We did this with my mother-in-law's dog. His health was great, up until he passed away at 13 years old.

I had to do this with Grim at 8 due to enlarged prostate.
The recovery was a bit tougher ( a lot of swelling, which I gather is not typical of younger dogs) but now he seems just fine.
