Default Concerned about Sheena (video)

Every now and then my 8 yr old female does this very strange neck thing. It looks like a hiccup...but it's not...I am concerned that it could be the beginning of bloat..but she is not pacing or whining. I did tell my vet about it the last time it happened (which was in Nov), he told me how to feel her belly and to watch her when it happens. I was also advised on giving her Phayazme gel tabs to relieve any gas she may have.
This morning it happened again. She had eaten a small meal hours earlier, hadn't exercised....just weird. This time she actually threw up. Her belly is no hard and she doesn't look in distress....just uncomfortable.

I got a video of her, has anybody experienced anything like this with their dog?

A little hard to tell, but could it be reverse sneezing?

wild guess , check her heart - looks like a spasm that comes from a rhythm problem -- as I said wild guess -- there is a flutter and reguritation -- horses can have it , chronic obstructive ?? what am I looking for (athletes running in cold - post pneumonia ...)

Kirin does this same thing before she throws up after eating something that she shouldn't and it makes her nauseous. One time i specifically remember was when she was eating mango and had too much of the core and she did this multiple times until all the core was thrown up. She wanted water almost immdediately afterwards.

Did she eat something recently that you know of?

does this happen at rest , or after exercise , how well is she able to run , when she does do you see shortness of breath, weasing , tiring easily.

Is there something in your home - some roof freshener , petro chemical candle , smoke that may be an irritant?

It's not a reverse sneeze...she mostly does it when she is resting. She is a pretty active girl...when she's outside she loves to run around the yard. Loves her walks. Always wants to chase the ball.
When she sleeps ... yes, at times she makes a small wheezing sound. No chemicals around, smoke or candles.
Right after her last episode in Nov., she had a vet checkup...he did listen to her heart and it was good.
Also...it's not the neck thing they do right before they throw up...this is way longer and she doesn't throw up (except for today )

She is absolutely stunning!

I might want to take this video in to show the vet.

Did she throw up or did she regurgitate? Vomiting/throw up is the horka horka horka spew, regurgitate is the blurgh that just comes up and out with no performance.

An excellent suggestion! This will be most helpful in figuring out what is going on.

The 3 times or so that she previously did it....not regurgitate or throw up. Today was actual throw up. (her breakfast w/ grass in it) - so when my husband let her out this morning (I work nights) - she was eating grass, which is worrisome to me. She must have been doing this from a complete sleep earlier in the morning - stopped for awhile, ate...then maybe 2 hours later is when she started and I took the video. After the Phayzame pills, she did it only a short while more, than stopped.

So throw up as in vomit with all the motions and hurka horka stuff or just a blat-splat kind of thing?

Is she having any difficulty walking/moving?

Is she better now?
