Thanks to everyone for your patience in my post-neuter posts.
Hank is continuing to act like nothing happened to him yesterday, and is not happy with me that he doesn't get to run around outside and that we missed our daily walk for only the fourth time ever. ![]() His scrotum is not swollen and the incision looks great, however he is putting off an unpleasant odor from down there. Have others noticed this after a neuter? I definitely do not feel that it is an infection; it smells mostly antiseptic/medicinal with maybe body heat propelling it. That is the best way to describe it. It was MUCH stronger yesterday, the day of the surgery. When the vet made a follow-up call to me today to check how Hank was doing, they were not concerned he had the odor that I described.
