Default Canine flu?

So my dog has been sneezing at a rate of about 5 sneezes an hour (?). He hasn't been lethargic otherwise, hasn't had any coughing (like kennel cough sounds in the video below), and hasn't had any other symptoms besides this one consistent sneeze.

Any ideas? Canine flu? How would I treat it? Literally just sneezes 5 times an hour on average for the last two days.

Any advice will be appreciated...

Several vets in our are are offering a canine flu shot to prevent the flu. Never heard of that before

The canine flu does exist and can be very serious. We had a litter of foster puppies that we are pretty sure, in retrospect, had it. The vet was treating for KC and URI (they were straight out of animal control, they were exposed to every little bug you can imagine), but one got so sick she almost died. They all recovered, but one of mine contracted whatever it was they had, and the vet immediately started her on antibiotics, clavamox, and with 24 hrs after THAT she was blowing foam out her nose and had pneumonia. She ended up being taken to the doggie ER at almost 1am in the morning when I saw the foam and she couldn't sleep she was so sick. It happened SO fast. Never seen anything like it, and I've been around a lot of sick foster dogs. My male also started showing symptoms, the same ones she's started with 24 hrs before, and the ER put both of them on a zpack and cleared it all up.

I had never heard of the canine flu until months later when I saw an article that cases were starting to spread across the midwest. Everything fit. This was a couple years ago.

I have no idea if the vaccine is any good, if there are possible side effects, or whathave you. So on that regard, I can't answer.

edited to add - they all had VERY runny noses. It was disgusting, literally a puddle would form if you crated one. They would stand up, hang the head low, and liquid snot would just drip drip drip.

Scarlett had the Canine Flu shot, but still got a disgusting runny nose, sneezing and conjuntivitis issue last winter. This year, we're only dealing with the red eyes.

I wouldn't get the flu shot, but this sounds an awful lot like a foreign body.
