I want to bump this up because I'm really curious about it!

I can't comment, because I never used pet insurance, but I am curious too.
If some one would say where the voting is now and then, it would be helpful to those of us who can't see the results. Thanks.

I'm curious too. I've seen a lot of people support insurance but have never really had to use it (paying a monthly fee and so far just getting an annual exam, shots, basic stuff that amounts to a LOT less than what they've paid).

Here's the thing, pet insurance will not be worth it for most people, that is a fact. If it was worth it for even 51% of people who bought it, it would not be profitable and not offered by the companies.
With that said, if you aren't good at putting money aside and can't afford thousands in one shot should an emergency arise, you should strongly consider pet insurance. If you are good at putting money aside and/or you can afford treatment should an emergency occur, then I would not recommend pet insurance. The average person will save money in the long run by not having pet insurance.

Yes and if you research this forum using the search button lots of good topics on this. I did a whole break down of them all. VPI is garbage.
The only two worth using are petplan and truepanion. Thats with reading the contracts. On a personal level Petplan is sick and amazing they pay all my claims fast, no questions asked yet. |
