Arrow HELP, Stomache looks to be cramping and just lying around.(non gsd)

Yes we took her to the ER vet at 4:45 this morning, her stomache seemed to be contracting and she would squint her eyes and she was also shaking. The doctor checked her out and told us she could not find anything wrong with her. She asked me could she have eaten anything dead and I told her I guess it was possible we were out in the yard yesterday for awhile. She then asked could she have eaten anything in the house and I told her she does not chew on anything like that.

Baby was 11 yrs old on Thanksgiving and has been healthy up untill this morning. She has drank some water for me and I got her to lick 5 little pea size bites of wet dog food. She never got sick, she never threw up. She is a little pig when it comes to food she will stand under Ace while he is eating and if he drops something she will scarf it up.

When I carry her outside she just stands there, I have wracked my 60 yr old brain and was wondering if she could be constipated? If anyone has any suggestions that could maybe help her, please comment.

Thank you. I carry her outside but I can't get her to use the potty, she should surely have to pee by now since she has drank quite a bit of water.

I hate to say this, but if she's still having problems I'd call the ER you took her to and let them know she's still uncomfortable, hasn't peed, etc.

Hope she's feeling better soon!!!

Something is really wrong. She probably has a mass blocking her urine flow. Or a large stone.
It's a horrible way to die and she is in pain.
I hate to say it but find a vet who is open and get her there stat.

agree!! get her to the vet now and demand xrays. If she does have a blockage preventing her from urinating, her bladder can and will explode and by that point it will be too late. I watched my SIL lose her cat because they didnt get him to the vet soon enough when he started showing the same type of symptoms. Please return to the vet immediately. Preferably a different vet if the other one didnt find anything wrong when clearly there is something wrong.

Definitely doesn't sound good. She should be able to urinate. I am with those that recommend your taking her back to the Vet and have them specifically check the urinary/digestive areas. Wishing for a speedy recovery for your girl.

hope you're already gone back to the vet. something is very wrong. i am surprised no one x-rayed her at your first visit. please demand that they do. a more extensive work-up is surely warranted. thoughts are with you.

Baby is better today, she growled at me this morning, she does that when she is being playful. Her appetite is back and even though she still is a little weak still she has been out to pee twice and not drinking near as much water today as yesterday. I have given her some wet food because she is hungary and I also gave her some pumpkin because she has not had to go pooh yet. I was wondering if she may be constipated and that might be what was wrong yesterday.

I went to pick her up a few minutes ago and it was very wet where she had been laying. I don't know if she wet when I was picking her up or not, I can't see her laying in it if she had done it before.

I would love to be able to keep going back to the vet but circumstances do not let me do that. She is eating and drinking normally today and getting some strength back. I hope that the incontinence is temporary, but if not then we will have to deal with it the best that we can. If it keeps up I will get some baby huggies or something similar to put on her untill I see if it is going to continue. If it does I will make an appointment with her regular vet.

Thanks all for your suggestions, Baby and I appreciate it.
