So, I picked up a rope-tug at the pet store today, and we just finished playing with it when I noticed these blood spots.
I am not sweating it too much. This is a dog that didn't know how to play ball when I rescued him, so he probably never had a rope-pug before. I figure it is like someone who never uses floss and the gums bleed a little bit when you do it for the 1st time in a long time. The only part that bothers me (a little), is that he didn't seem real interested in playing with it again when I tried. Probably like everything with him... baby steps. Any comments would be appreciated.

I think it's normal. My dogs sometimes get blood spots on their nylabones when they chew too hard. Just be sure that his oral health is good by getting regular vet checkups and having his teeth cleaned or giving him knuckle bones to chew on.

![]() I didn't know you could have that done. It would take a brave doggie dentist. Can't imagine Viktor would be too into that.
