Some photos of a black spot on Atticus' tongue.
It showed up a few weeks ago and I thought she had like burst a blood vessel on a sharp part of a stick while playing or something ... but its been a while and it hasn't gone away ... thought I'd turn to help from some of the experts out there. Should I be worried ... and should I be taking her into the vet ? Thanks for your help ![]() ![]()

Nope doesn't appear to be bothering her ... I just had no idea what it was. Wouldn't even have raised a flag except for the fact that I know it wasn't always there.
Well thats a relief lol Thanks again guys

Black spots appearing on the gums or tongue can be very normal for this breed, along with other breeds...and it can happen at any age.
As long as it doesn't change color, texture or structure...there should be no worries.
