Default ear problem

Today when I left my 5 month old pup, she was in her crate and fine. When I came home my girlfriend said she had been itching her ear very frequently and it has now flopped, and I don't know if she can pick it up, or if she is just leaving it down by choice but it isn't perking up. I looked inside her ears and there looks like both ears may have dirt in them... guessing maybe earmites? I pulled a flea out of the one she is favoring... She also had worms a few days after we got her... I think they may have come with her but my question is, does anyone have experience with the ear dropping? Will it come back up?

It didn't somehow get injured did it? (not saying it was intentional-so please don't read between the lines!)
I've heard that if the cartilage gets damaged they can flop. I don't know enough to know if they can come back up afterwards though.

Or maybe she's still teething? They can flop and re-erect themselves during this period.

Goodluck- hope everything works out okay.
