Default Ate leather belt 10 days ago

my 7 month old pit bull ate my leater belt about 10 days ago, 32 inches long and left only the buckel. we havent seen anything pass through her but she has not ate or drank since saturday and last night started throwing up and diarrhea and is very lethargic... what do i do for her
(we just realized today it was the belt making her this way because a piece of belt about 4 inches long came up when she vomitted earlier)

this is a german shepherd forum but your dog sounds like he/she has a blockage which needs to b treated by a vet. it would require surgery to remove the blockage. throwing up generally means nothing is going through and the diarrhea is a result of her body trying to fix the issue and not working. your should have taken your dog to the vet immediately when they refused to eat or drink and is now lethargic. THIS CAN KILL YOUR DOG IF NOT TREATED IMMEDIATELY! get to an Emergency vet NOW or your dog may not make it much longer. its very possible that having waited so long as well, that your dog could die regardless of whether they get surgery or not due to swelling of the intestines which eventually restricts blood flow killing the intestine.

should also point out that your dog is also becoming VERY dehydrated which can kill as well. PLEASE get your dog to an emergency vet NOW before its too late.

Load her in the car and pray she survives the ride to the vet RIGHT NOW and and maybe a surgery to remove the belt.

sorry im sure your not going to like my attitude but **** thats just ridiculous!
ignorance is bliss but not when it means an animal is suffering..

so you thought nothing of it to eat the belt? (sure dogs can eat stuff and it goes straight thru) but id be abit iffy with a belt :/..then when its off its food and drink you didnt think something was wrong?..you wait till days later when its spewing and diarrhea (stll not doing anything about it) and ONLY when the belt comes up you realise??? and you STILL havent gotten your ass in the car and taken it to the vet by now???

maybe you dont care about your animal as much as anyone else who would do somehting about it straight away or maybe you just dont have much of a clue..

so shoot me for this comment if you will but im not gonna shut my mouth when it just seems like stupidity.

Sorry, but this screams troll.
Joined a GSD forum to get advice on a pitbull?

Nobody could be this nonchalant regarding something this serious. Sounds like a troll to me.

Let's hope it is a troll.

Until then, take the dog to a vet. IMMEDIATELY.
