We made it through the night thank you all for the response.Taz is drinking alot of
water now and I think starting to bloat.

My vet wants to wait 2weeks do another ultra sound again on the spleen and liver
he concerned that it may already be in the liver and does not want the spleen out
if its spread to the liver as he said every owner that can would pay the 3000 -5000
but if the dog not going to live its sad you pay the money and leave with your friend
still gone.
What to do??

I plan to go and see the my vet today and ask some more questions I feel were waitnting for the worst to happen. We will see what today brings.

I hate the idea of waiting and I hate the idea of putting him through the surgery
and it be the worst cancer. I need to know if it's benign which so far they said
their was a spot on the liver but the ultra sound tech couldn't confirm what it
was, he said his expertise is really taking the ultra sound only.

I may even go back to the Animal Hospital they did the ultra sound spend 200 and get some more hands on thoughts from them.

My Vet was the one who did the xray on the chest and blood and urine tests so
I think I need to go see him also get a copy of the tests and disscuss with the
Animal Hospital.

My Vet has at least 30+ years knowledge I do trust him as he sent me to the
Animal Hospital as they have the ultra sound machine .

I'm going to get the day going and check back here later.. looking for a miracle

If you think he is bloating he needs a vet now!

I just had my 11 year old dog's spleen removed. One vet felt it looked like cancer the said it may or may not be. Sent it for a biopsy and it was not cancer. It made her very sick, very suddenly, which is how we found out about it. It was removed about 3 weeks ago and she is healed up and back to her normal self.

I'd say if your 7 year old dog is healthy in all other ways, I'd suggest having it removed and sending it for a biopsy.

When my girl was dying, she drank and drank water all the time and also began to bloat. The gums of her teeth started to loose their "pinkness" and became more white. The bloating can be internal bleeding if the tumor is leaking. The vet should be able to immediately tell you if your dog's blood is still able to clot. Slow clotting time is not a good sign. I agree with AgileGSD that Taz should be checked out immediately.

I really feel for you in this tough time. I wouldnt want to wait either. I guess in my case I decided I didnt want him to die from a sudden bleed out... my thought if upon surgery inspection they saw the cancer had spread I would of asked them to put him down then; we were lucky and tumors were just confined to the spleen. I hope you find some answers soon. Give you dog a hug for me.
