to be honest with you we just got her, we have had her about a week. we got her from this couple who got her from another couple that abused her. she has been doing really well fitting in with us. still a little skidish, but the eating thing is the only thing that is concerning me. she eats table scraps that my three year old loves to drop. just not her food.

If it were me, I would have her checked out by the vet to make sure she is healthy... she still may be adjusting to her new home, try hand feeding her. Once they get that taste of table food, nothing else taste just as good, they can get spoiled to that, lol, Do you know her eating habits from her former home?

Shepherds are supposed to be on the lean side. She may look underweight to you, but she may be just right, I would get her weighed if I were you. Also she may not like the food she is on. My lil diva is gonna 11 months, her best meal is at night, she will nit pick at her morning meal. You may want to look up different foods to feed her, I have not fed diamond products.. how are her poops?

they are normal, but to be honest with you she does it the taste of wild food better. i researched the best dog foods and that one was the one that always repeated. so i went to tractor supply and bought a small bag to try it out and she seemed to enjoy it better. its a little on the expensive side though.

I'm sure the pro's will weigh in and give you better advice. Maybe a fished based food will be more appealing to her? Or maybe RAW?

GSDs can have sensitive digestive systems, and they can also be sensitive otherwise.

It sounds like she hasn't ate well since being with you, is that true? It might just be the change in the surroundings. When she is fed, is there a lot of activity around, or is it quiet?
