From the looks of the daily doses of Rematrix, there is not enough of anything to be effective one way or another.
I feed 1000 of vitamin C and 400iu of E daily, this is just a taste for a daily dosage in their product. And with a large breed dog, you'd have to give 4 chews a day to give them not even a daily dose. I can buy from a human pharmacy for much les$. I'd rather pick and choose the supplements(and dosage) I give, and pay less doing so. |

Yes I am using Gloucosamine/MSM I take for my dog. I wanted to know what the difference is with this product that they think is far superior.

Sometimes you don't need a lot of one ingredient (like Vit C) if the ingredients act synergystically with each other.
They don't look hugely different from each other, but it looks like the Phycox has a few more things to inhibit inflammation (like the tumeric, phycox), while the Rematrix has more additional joint health stuff (like collagen, HA). There's a higher percentage of creatine in the rematrix, which might not be good if the dog tends to run dehydrated. Interesting products. If you try them, let us know how they work. Phycox: Glucosamine Hydrochloride 450 mg Methyl sulfony methane (MSM) 400 mg Flaxseed Oil 400 mg Creatine monohydrate 250 mg Turmeric 50 mg Phycox 30 mg Eicosapentaenoic Acid 9 mg Docosahexaenoic Acid 6 mg Boron 100 mcg Alpha Lipoic Acid, Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Calcium Phosphate, Citrus Bioflaconoids, Grape Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Magnesium Stearate, Manganese Sulfate, Marine Lipid Concentrates Natural Liver Flavor, Selenium, Sucrose Zinc Sulfate. ReMatrix Glucosamine HCl* 1000 mg Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 1,000 mg Creatine Monohydrate 1,000 mg Chondroitin Sulfate 100 mg Flaxseed Oil 600 mg Collagen 100 mg Hyaluronic Acid 20 mg EPA 18 mg DHA 12 mg Vitamin C 50 mg Vitamin E 50 IU Manganese 10 mg Zinc 10 mg Grape Seed Extract 10 mg Citrus Bioflavonoids 10 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid 10 mg Inositol 10 mg Choline 10 mg L-Glutathione 10 mg Selenium 10 mg Other Ingredients: Marine Lipid, Concentrates, Natural meat flavors (non-bovine orgin), Sucrose, Magnesium Stearate They have the Rematrix at Overstock?
