Teeth grinding

Sigurd has been grinding his teeth for the past week. At first it was only when he was relaxing, or biting on a stuffed animal... it's now turning into almost during any activity (peeing and pooping included). He is 5 months old, and has most of his adult teeth in, only a few baby teeth remaining. His jaw and teeth seem to line up (like scissors), could teething cause him to grind his teeth? Is it possible his teeth hurt and he does this to get rid of pain? Thanks!

Re: Teeth grinding

I experienced the exact same thing recently with my puppy. He probably has some baby teeth that are grinding against other teeth since it hasn't fallen out yet and is probably out of place.

Re: Teeth grinding

Thanks! Two of his teeth are extremely loose, he seems to have stopped for now. Maybe they were bugging him, so he was grinding them to sooth/help loosen then.
