Yesterday was our first happy gotcha day

CaraBella -- Cara -- moved in last year on Saturday 29 Jan. She is our first "rescue". The first month or so was, hmm, not bad, just a little frustrating getting the going-out-to-potty issues settled, and then we discovered she'd been to OB classes (she pretended she didn't have any training

) and knows all the commands and that there are rewards LOL. She's a sweetie, and just loves to be loved. And food. We think she is GSD x Akita. I'd post a picture, but i forget how.

Maybe one day I'll give it a shot.

Scarlett's Gotcha Day was yesterday too. We drove to Fredericksburg, VA to get her 3 years ago. Seriously, it doesn't seem that long ago. Our first two weeks were great...then the real dog came out and ate all of our leather posessions. .

We've continued to battle that issue since then. We're much better trained at putting our stuff away now. Thanks Scarlett!
