Happy Birthday Joey!

Our guy turns 6 today. We've only had him 3 months, but feels like we've had him forever. Can't imagine life without him now.

He belonged to my husband's cousin, who trains Schutzhund dogs. Joey was a SCH3 (can't remember where he competed - have the paperwork at home).

The cousin is training a puppy now for Schutzhund; also has a family dog and 3 kids under the age of 5.

It was getting too much for him. He's adopted out his dogs to family members in the past. The opportunity presented itself for my husband and I to adopt Joey.

We always talked about getting a dog; husband just retired; timing was right. We love Joey to pieces!

I'm glad Joey has a forever home with you now. He looks so happy all curled up on his bed. I know you cousin must be very thankful you and your husband were able to take him in.
