Happy Birthday/Gotcha Day, Kaiser!!

This past weekend was Kaiser's 1 year Gotcha Day!! It's hard to believe that it's only been a year.

I remember when I first saw him barking his head off in the oustide kennel of the small shelter where I was there to evaluate a different shepherd to bring home as a foster. I'm pretty sure it was love at first sight with Kaiser and before I knew it, he was in my car to make the 2.5 hour drive home.

He was skinny and so dirty but a love bug and so smart. I had been considering another permanent dog for a while and wanted a large bi-color and instead brought home this silly little sable.

Since I don't know Kaiser's real birthday, I've decided that it is Nov 13th (13 is my fav number) so Happy Belated Birthday, Kaiser! It's been a wonderful year together and I look forward to many more!

Yeah for Kaiser!!! Happy (pretend) birthday, hanbsome. That first picture with Raven eyeing him is hilarious! And what a great ambassador for rescue he is.
