It's our Charlieversary
Wow, I've been so busy I haven't had time to post here in a while, but I just had to post today!
 One year ago today, Jacob and I, after months of talking about getting a dog and reading up on what kinds of dogs would be a good fit for us, went to our local shelter and met Charlie.  He was 4 1/2 months old, had been dropped off by his previous owner that very morning (because he was "getting too big), and sweetly watched us walk down his row, sitting and wagging his tail the whole time as other other dogs barked and jumped up on their kennel gates all around him. Jacob saw him first and stopped and said "look what a great disposition this guy has!" When we took him out to meet him he was friendly, happy, gave us kisses, and sat on my lap when I called him. We fell in love right away and got to take him home with us the very next day. He was my early 30th birthday present.. the gift that keeps on giving.  Charlie couldn't be a more perfect dog for us. He has given us so much joy in the past year! We're hoping for many more years with our sweet pup.

Some people amaze me! I'm SO glad you got this handsome boy... the previous owner was an idiot! What kind of person gets a GSD puppy and gives it away @ 4 months cause it's too big??
LOL LIKE DUH!! GSD's aren't lil dogs!!! We got both Klytie and Duke from shelters also... both wonderful dogs with special needs. Klytie's one of the best dogs I've owned smart and very easy to train. Definitely a Diamond who was overlooked. The very best to you an Charlie...
