Happy Birthday Talon!

Talon is 4 years old today! I cannot believe how fast time flies... As many of you know, he went through a rather urgent case of HGE last month, but he's completely recovered and doing just fine today.

We went for a hike, played ball (his favorite) and did some training at the park. Then he got a big beef stick for his birthday treat.

Talon is without a doubt my heart dog. He was there for me through one of the roughest times of my life, and there are times when it's just been me and him. He's incredibly intelligent and it amazes me how much he understands me. I talk to him often and because of that I think he has picked up quite a few words, and it shows! I've never had a dog that literally lived to please me...All he wants to do is be where I am, and I never did anything to deserve that kind of devotion! I really can't explain in words how much he means to me and how happy and lucky I am to have him in my life!

Happy birthday handsome boy! Love you so much!

PS- I will definitely post pics tomorrow. It's too late now to get some outdoor pics and I want him to look his best for his birthday thread!

It's good to hear that Talon is doing great! I am so glad for everyone's sake that he recovered and is busy playing now.
