New sculpture of a GSD

Hello

I am the proud friend of a 2 year old german shepherd, is my first dog and i spend a lot of time with her so it has become a very important part of my family.
As i work both as a sculptor and illustrator it was about time she became one of my favourite models.
You know the way they are, smart, loyal, funny, powerful, lovely, beautiful, a bit crazy, almost human, and for me like a non stop source of inspiration. So after drawing her for several months a few weeks ago i decided to make my first 1/6 GSD sculpture but trying something different than the regular pose figure everybody is used to.
After several studies i began to sculpt and as we share the love for these amazing animals i thought you would like to to see the process of what i am doing.
Here youre the pics. All opinions are welcome

Congratulations on becoming a vendor :)

I saw your last thread - I was very impressed with your talent, and I want one too! What a great pose you captured! Any chance on a life-sized one? LOL, after the lottery win, of course.

Thanks for your kind words.
Yes i have to repost because my first one wasnt in the right part of the forum.
Now i am in the casting and painting process and very soon i will be able to share the painted sculpture.

A lifesized?, why not, but first i have to finish this project!

This one is from the casting process. I am using poliuretane resin with black pigment in a silicone mold.

I must ask, do you do custom sketches? It would be nice to know what you offer and a price schedule! I hope that becoming a vendor here is profitable.

just remember I'm on the list for one of the statues!

If you are doing it "black" that is what I would like , or bronze , preferred over the painted .

Hello,

im not sure what you are asking me (its not your fault i need to improve my english). If you are asking me about drawing sketches, im running a FB page where i daily post a german shepherd related sketch and some of them are for sale.

for custom do you mean a comission drawing? if so we could talk about it

Thanks for your interest in my work
