Tip: IPhone Solution: immediate bottom of page and top scroll

Everybody hates scrolling all the way down to see the first comment or 'op' comment.

There is however a solution.

In IOS 8 tap top of Menu bar twice and it takes you top.

To go to the bottom, create a shortcut/bookmark:
Name: End
Url: javascript:scroll(0,document.body.scrollHeight);

Type the url out. Copy/paste might not work.
Now go to settings on GSD.com.. And make show 50 replies... (Instead of 10)

And there you have it.
Immediate scroll up to top of page or scroll down to bottom of page. You don't have to change pages and wait for loads... And can get to bottom or top instantly.

(Dont know why apple cant just give the bottom page feature.. But there you have a nice work around that works)

Or just change the settings of your account. "User CP", then "Edit Options", under thread display mode.

Yes that definitely works

I have newest first I know about that setting.
I guess you could change it every time you want to see the first post, and then the last post.
Then you would have to refresh page again for your change to set in.

The way I described is just 1 touch for up.. and 2 touch for bottom, and works on every single iPhone webpage instantaneously once it loads.

Your way is 6 touches for the same task, and you have to wait for 'refresh'.

Its a handy tool.

Lol how did "it's a handy tool link to an Amazon sight for a grooming brush?
