Default Suddenly cuddly?

Anyone else experience this? From the time I got her at 8 weeks, Vida never wanted to cuddle. It was one handed pets only, otherwise she'd get grumpy. Suddenly at 5 months old, she loves to cuddle. she'll throw herself onto my lap to get cuddles and pets. Anyone else have this happen with their pups? Is this common?

As a baby if we tried to cuddle Garrison he would panic ... kick the back legs and scream. What the heck?! We kept doing it frequently and calmly. After months of his ridiculous reactions now he is such a mush. Most times too much! We laugh at how he used to react and now 87 pounds later he crawls into your lap and refuses to move! Crazy kid.

Yup, mine was a late bloomer... he still only likes to cuddle on his terms... usually in the AM. I thought it would never happen though.
