Purebred Question

Hi,
I met this breeder without AKC registration and the mom was on site who looked 100% purebred but I wasnt able to see the papa shepherd. My mom is looking for purebred only so I need help identifying if he's 100% purebred or not.

My friends keep saying he's not purebred because his ears are up.

He's 7.5 weeks old.

If you must get a guaranteed purebred , find a reputable breeder. Only way to be positive.

Pup sure is cute and might be purebred, but you are taking a chance it's not.

In my area it's really hard to find german shepherd puppies available (especially AKC registered). I just want to hear some opinions

Where are you located? Maybe someone can give you an idea of reputable breeder.

what ?? Vancouver B.C. has a lot of good GSD breeders .

so why would you say "In my area it's really hard to find german shepherd puppies available (especially AKC registered). I just want to hear some opinions "

"especially AKC" --- !!! because you are in Canada and pups born in Canada will have Canadian Kennel Club registration - not AKC .

does look purebred -- pasterns look good

The last time I searched there they were barely any selections and there were only like 1 puppy left from the litter, etc etc.

Plus I am staying in the states for a while and there are more selections here. I've grown attached to the litter here and especially this puppy in particular. That's why I rather figure if he's purebred instead of outsourcing to other breeders.
