Default I think Emelie has just learned how to retrieve

I have been training her intensely how to play fetch since I got her 16 days ago. Tonight I told her eye to eye to fetch and then threw the ball, repeated ten times in a row and she eagerly bolted after them and bought them back. On no occasion was she rewarded with treats only verbal praise. So what do you think? She is only 9 weeks old and I had read that puppies don't normally learn how to fetch till they are 6 months or something.

Nice work Dawg!

Linus learned how to play fetch around 3 months old. He just loves this game and it is great exercise for him. I have no idea when dogs normally learn this game.

I must admit, however, that he does not always Out when he returns the toy. Most of the time he does and he is getting better. Always something to work on when training. He does bring it back to me every time and stops right in front of me.
