Arya is Six Months Old!!!

As of Yesterday, Arya is six months. :)

Love this girl so much!!!

Two clarifications, vest is bc she is an SDiT and we are doing mild public access training, the vest helps cut down on "some" of the idiots who would otherwise lose their freakin minds over a puppy sitting quietly at my feet. SMH.

And the other is that she's a mix... Known Aussie and GSD in the mom, unknown Dad. Possibly GSD, could be Dobe (though for some reason that thought is now the reason I don't have a "friend", makes zero sense and good riddance if she makes that big of a deal over musings over an unknown parent of MY dog). But pretty much, unknown. :) Was an "oops" litter.

Pictures are at 8 weeks and then two days ago. :)

Nice looking pup....what to you mean by " idiots who would otherwise lose their freakin minds over a puppy sitting quietly at my feet." ???? That they would want to pet her or they would give you crap for having a dog in a store?

I have to admit...every time I see a SD or any dog for that matter, I am so tempted to walk over and ask if I can scratch some ears....but I don't if it's a SD.....it does take some restraint on my behalf but I believe I am past that stage ever since the corrections I was given via a prong or e collar many moons ago.

Oh, obviously her ancestry has served her well if she is that composed at 6 months....keep up the good work.

The idiots aren't people who politely ask to pet her. The idiots are those (full grown adults) who run up behind us squealing "PUPPY" and start grabbing at her. There are those who do this regardless of the vest, but it does cut down on them bc friends or family will notice and stop them with "it's working".

I have no problem with someone asking to pet her and most of the time I will oblige willingly.

So far I've kept the public access very minimal, once, maybe twice a week, only in Walmart and HEB, and she's been brilliant, no access issues personally.

And thanks. She's a crazy insane puppy who never stops running, but seems to understand that when in public and "working" she needs to be better behaved, walks on a loose leash connected to her harness, with very few corrections.

Here's a video from the same night.
