Default Will he be a blanket?

Do you think this pup will keep the black blanket, or will he get lighter? He is 9 weeks in the first pic and 10 in the second.

My sable LC female got darker with time, my parents SC saddle got lighter...he is a SC, but I don't know what matters in predicting his future look.

TIA!

I think he will be a typical saddle. Most B/T tend to have the black recede and the saddle get smaller. For his age he is not dark....at that age my blanket black had much more black on the legs...........

What a cutie! In that first pic, did you just get done brushing another dog? That pic looks familiar... just like my pup Jack in the hair!
