Safe treats for crate?

I am going to be leaving my baby home alone for the first time on Monday while I go to work for a little while. I was wondering what some safe chew treats are that I can put in his crate to entertain/tire him out while I'm gone. I have little rawhide free bones but I am nervous to leave him alone with those unsupervised. I have a puppy kong for him that I will put some peanut butter in, but am looking for some other ideas as well. Thanks!

after filling the kong with peanut butter, freeze it. it will last so much longer. we also add some kibble and little pieces of cheese. that should be good enough.

our dog hates being left alone. in the year we had our first it's only been left alone a few times. crate is in the bedroom, we leave the TV on. close the bedroom door, and quietly sneak out the front door.
