At what age?

Do I stop feeding him puppy food twice a day and start feeding him adult food once a day?

I fed Cafall adult food twice a day from day one. The sooner the switch to adult food, the better in my opinion. Helps keep them from growing too big too quickly.

most people feed twice a day even as a dog reaches adulthood because less mass of food entering at once is supposedly helpful in preventing bloat

Myself and all the dogs at our club (when they were puppies) went on adult food right away (8-10 weeks old).

Well he is 56.2 lbs. @ 5 months, but really skinny lanky and active.

I don't know the science part of it but Titan was on 2 a days until about a year.. then to once a day until about 2 and he's been back on 2 a days for the last 2 years now. Started out because he wouldn't finish all 3 cups in one sitting. Then now it's because I feed kibble in the morning and raw at night.
