Default Puppy fur....

I think my pup is getting his adult hair? Very weird. All up his spine is longer hair growing in . Pic below. I'm I right? He will be 11 weeks Sunday.

Does this mean that the color of his adults hair will stay the color it comes in? I was surprised knowing he is getting it all ready.

Awww yes, that's definitely adult fur coming in!
Maybe Finnick will get his soon as he's only a little bit younger than Percy!
His nickname is "floofy" as his head has so much fluffiness (especially around his ears).

Isabella, had the exact same streak upper back looked like a; Rhodesian Ridgeback. You were asking about changing of color at 16 weeks I'm seeing a little bit a Whitehair coming in below the ears on the backside and just a tiny bit under the undercoat, so the coat structure can change or vary.

Tyson's tail started look thick and big when he was almost 6 -7 months. His tail started to be bushy and the fur long when he was almost 9 months old, he is almost 11 now and he still has some tail to grow.
