Exclamation Dry skin, dandruff

Hey guys, got a quick question here for you guys, I've noticed that my 24 week old pup has dandruff. I must admit I do bathe him twice a month (which might seem much for this breed) and I plan to cut down on that. Aside from that are there any other remedies I can do to get rid of his dandruff? I know about fish oil but I heard something about giving him a raw egg each meal? Right now I have him on Kirkland brand puppy food and Kirkland wet dog food. I used to have him on TOTW salmon, but got a bit expensive for me (I'm a college student), thus switching to kirkland brand dog foods. Please give me some advice on how to get rid of his dandruff.

Also just wanted to add, I've noticed these patches on his elbows (he's an outside dog) I'm speculating that it is connected with his dry skin? It feels like thick patches of scab?

When I first got my puppy, she was itchy and had dandruff. I switched her to a better food (from Pedigree to Blue Wilderness Large Breed Puppy) and started giving her salmon oil, vitamin E, and coconut oil. I live in the desert, so the climate is terrible for dry skin. She has a shiny coat now and very little itchiness.
