My puppy's nose is stuffy!

Hi everyone,

My 3months going on to 4 months just came back from training and now he has a stuffy nose and nasal discharge. He hasn't gone outside at all while training and when we got him back, it was the first time outside in 2 weeks I'm assuming. But now he has snot coming out of his nose when he sniffes it out and sneezes here and there.

Is it allergies or an actual cold? I've been reading to wait 24hrs then take him to the vet if it doesn't get better. I have a vet appt Thursday for his last set of shots but just wondering what I can do in the mean time?

you should call your vet office and describe the symptoms, maybe they can move his apt up a few days if they want to check it out

Read this - you may want to take him in sooner than thursday. When Luther caught bordetella from the groomers, he didn't have the actual cough. Just the snot flowing from the nose for the 3 weeks he spent as a boneless blob on the floor. Very dangerous in puppies.

I have duct tape and I am not afraid to use it.
