Default Bile vomit and exercise question

6:15 woke up to Abby vomiting....of course was worried....turned the light on saw it was straight bile. So I took her outside to potty then feed her straight away. She is on Victor ALS with plain full fat yogurt...1/2 cup three times a day mixed with a spoon full of yogurt mixed in. The last time I fed her was 5ish last night. She is having firm poop a few times a day. She is full of vim and vigor. So what can I do to prevent this in the future??

And a side much exercise should I aim for in a day? I am a SAHM so have plenty of time to do activities with her. Also what activities can I do with her??

Her belly was probably super empty. May give her a biscuit before bed. To put something in there.

5 PM is very early to be feeding a "dinner" meal IMO. Many dogs digest within 8 hours so your dog is probably hungry for a fair amount of time before you wake up and feed her again. Many times, if they're doing something, they don't get the reflex to puke because they're busy, but if they're just laying around, it happens. Plus, during the day (especially the evening) you're likely training and giving treats to fill the stomach.

My dog would puke bile in the morning a lot when we would feed him early. We started to feed around 9-10 and he's fine now until the morning.

Storm used to puke bile in the morning a couple times per month until I gave him a small treat or a little yogurt at about 8-10 at night. I also give a tablespoon or two of yogurt with each of the two meals per day. I think both have helped. He bile vomits ~ only once per couple-few months.
