Venus was rolling at 9 weeks, out seeing the neighborhood where she now walks, going to cubscouts, ball games, the beach. I had one of those fold up shopping carts for her, piece of foam in the bottom. Throw it in the trunk and you're good to go! (LOL until the pup gets so big the wheels fall off!)

Lol that's one of the funniest things I have ever seen. It's smart tho! That puppy must feel like she has it made. Doesn't even have to walk. Lol

Well, you hadn't mentioned the military base, just that it was a wooded area. And wooded areas in most places could have some various types of crime... which is why I mentioned it.

But yes. For the pup's health, good idea to avoid it for now. Could be a great places for in future, but for now... just enjoy him at home.

I like the shopping cart idea! I'll have to remember that for my next pup!

Not that I didn't get asked all the time 'What's wrong that she can't walk?'

Um, she's 10 weeks old and hasn't had all her shots? She loved it though, got to go so many more places than Otto did as a pup because I didn't have a cart for him.

This is myfavorite one of her rolling - opening day for my son's little league.
