Default Color chances.

They can change color while they're growing, right? He's like.. a black, tan, white/silver.. which is pretty cool.. but anyone think he'll change or has anyone had a pup who looked a certain color then completely changed? o_o

I'm going to guess he'll lighten up a lot. My saddleback looked a lot like that only a bit darker.

my kali definitely changed her color. especially on her face. and only in 2 months. like the brown color on her face extended as her face grew... out of the blue a few white hairs grew on the shoulder..
the black part on her coat is very black which i like

I am going through the same event with Olivia. As a young puppy, she was solid black with a one inch patch of white on her chest. Fast forward and at ten months, in-between the webbing of her paws are khaki, the rear part of her hind legs are growing khaki. Guess she will sport crew socks up front and gym socks in the rear

He will change, looks like he will have a lovely bit of black with the tan and salt and pepper.

Lola is black and gold with salt and pepper

first pic is her about 6 months, second is her now - see the difference in colouring

I love Lola's color at 6 months. the back is so well defined. she's a princess, hehe
Kali is similar with a lighter face. and i want her to keep this color, haha.

The best way to find out what the pup will look like when it grows up is to look at the parents. I would say that when the pup grows up it'll be black/tab with the tan lighting up a bit more. You have a wonderful pup though!
