Default Question about size

We have a German Shepherd puppy that is almost 8 months old. Last month at the vet he weighed in at 96 pounds. He's not overweight at all. He's tall and long, and really healthy. Now I know that he is over-sized because he exceeds the weight/size range for German Shepherds. I'm just really curious to find out how big he will be when fully grown. Anyone else here have an oversized shepherd? Any idea how to figure out how big he's going to get? We never anticipated that he would be this big by 8 months.

Can you post more photos of his body? Standing? Side view? Top view?

Sure, let me see if I have any...if not I'll try to take some. He's kind of hard to photograph sometimes because he moves a lot lol

P.S. I love your cats' names!

My GSD is over the standard. He didn't completely fill out until he was 4 years old.

He's a very handsome boy!

I don't think he is fat at all but I don't think he is exactly slim either. I like my dogs on the slimmer side so that they don't have extra weight on their hips.

JMO I think he could lose a couple of pounds but nothing extreme.

Yep.

You need to see a waist, both from the side (a nice tuck) and from the top.
What, and how much, are you feeding?

He eats Purina ONE, about 4 cups a day split into two feedings.

I want to get him on Taste of the Wild, as that's what we used to feed our pitbull before he passed away but money has been tight. Hubby just got a raise though so I'm planning on switching soon.

Thank you! He's my beautiful baby beast lol

What about his height? (I need to measure him) He seems to be getting taller, and his ears still seem so big. Do you think he will still grow some more?
