German shepherd name ideas

I'm getting a puppy around the first week of March.
We want a black and tan that looks like his father- male, working lines. Left dog http://northernk9.com/clients/b/b1/b...106399_org.jpg

We already came up with;

Nytro
Axel
Niko
Bomber
Primo
Damien
Duke

But we need more ideas xD We aren't sticking with one name, we just want as many names as possible so we have ideas when we see the puppy the breeder chose for us(we asked for him to pick our puppy)

Whenever I get my next male his name will probably be Luka!

I like Lukas as it is a good German name. You can call him Luke for short. As far as the names you have, I like Niko.

It is a good name! I looked it up once and it means "light" in some meaning of names web sites!

Well, what naming convention does your breeder use? In my experience, each litter is assigned either a theme (more inclined in show dogs) or a letter (working dogs.)

If I don't especially like the formal name or variations of it, I tend to work on geography pertinent to the dog. If I get to choose the formal name and it needs to start with a specific letter, I pull out the dictionary and build a list from there. Then I use elimination.

Naming can be so hard! Pick something in line with the breeder's naming conventions of course, but in my opinion, pick something special and uncommon! I try and stay away from popular dog names but always wait until I meet the pup to decide :) I find that helps.

Good luck!

From your original list I would pick Duke!

We are getting a male pup in April. We have it down to two options -

Barlo or Boone.

Leaning towards Boone.
