10 month olds tail

Hello my little girl will be 10 months on the 4th of Jan my question is when does their tail start to get a little fluffy?? She is a beautiful short haired all black shepherd but she has this skinny black tail?? I never noticed it much until my son came over with his 2 year old male and pointed Heidi's tail out to me. Thanks

Maybe your pup is at that in between stage where they are blowing the puppy fur and getting in the adult coat, I think by 6 months you will know what kind of coat to expect

My solid black GSD is 8 months old (9 months next week) and still doesn't really have a brush on his tail. I'm still hoping. The hair IS longer than it was though.
