she'll first sleep normal for the first 20min then end up like this for a good 2hrs .. why ???

My boy is over three years old. He still ends up in that position. I guess they do because they can!!

Ginger used to sleep that way. I wonder if it means they feel safe where they are sleeping?

Yup. Varick sleeps like this the majority of the time. Sometimes he'll even stiffen up his front legs and press his paws up against the top of the crate. I try to snap a photo whenever I can.
