I use a mixture of kibble and canned dog food.

We use peanut butter and freeze it so it lasts all day for our 4 month old puppy. Also we use canned dog food and his kibble too because peanut butter has too much sugar for an every day basis for our puppy.

I use Peanut butter, some times canned pumpkin, yogurt, canned dog food with kibble. I also freeze them over night and put in their crates when I leave for work.

I feed my puppy all meals out of her kongs, but she hates it when I put wet food in there, her "technique" is that she paws or noses it around in circles to knock all of the food out. I plug the small end with a piece of cheese, then fill it with kibble and block the opening with a treat.

Kongs are meant to be the safest toys and yet my 2 and a half month old pup Xena got her bottom jaw stuck in the big hole at the bottom when she was trying to get peanut butter out. Now I put treats in so she can knock them out instead of licking them out.

BTW- Dogs love Peanut butter, Vegimite and Cream Cheese mixed in with treats. Also try freezing it.

Watch the cream cheese, it gives some dogs the trots. For hours...

What I put in Kongs is a rope handle - and use them as a reward/toy.
