Default He never sleeps!

Baron is ten weeks and cannot settle down to sleep unless he's crated. Is that normal? He used to just drop and fall asleep when tired. Now his behavior just gets terrible and I end up crating him so he will sleep. Reminds me of my kids when they were toddlers.

Sadly, some pups won't settle down unless crated. Mine is 8 months old now and has only taken 1 maybe 2 naps since I got him when he wasn't crated. They can mature into it so don't give up hope! I'm still hoping 'grin'.

I think my boy started requiring more exercise around that time to tire him out. Dunno if that is normal or not given this is my first pup that I am raising.

I have two pups, one 11 mos, and one 7 mos. The younger hasn't ever taken a nap outside his crate, just gets over tired and obnoxious lol. The older will drop and nap wherever he takes a notion. I'm hoping the younger outgrows it, I would eventually like for him to sleep outside his crate like his older brother does.

No advice or help but just a curious question. Do any of your pups crate themselves when they get tired? Effie was never crate trained but would crawl in when she needed a nap.
