Default Crate bedding

What do y'all use in your crate for bedding? We have a 5 month old gsdx and have two crates for her. One upstairs in our bedroom and and one downstairs. We have just regular pillows covered by a blanket in both crates.! She looked snug as a bug when she was smaller but now she just looks uncomfortable. Half on half off. So what is best to put in the crate at this point . Those flat Sherpa type beds or one with more padding? Or take the pillows out and just keep a folded blanket in there. She does not chew any of the bedding.

Default Crate bedding

I just used a regular dog pillow that took up most of the crates flooring bc mine was allergic to her polyester bed
