I was just curious as to what Dukes coat will look like when he is older :) ex: lighter, darker... He is not a purebred GSD and his mother (pure Gsd) had a saddle kind of coloring... But that's all I know. He's a really sweet puppy and It doesn't matter to me what he ends up looking like, I'm just curious. Thanks! :) |

I noticed with my GSD mix that as her adult fur grows in she's getting lighter where she was previously black . I'm pretty sure thats usually the case with dark shepherds that they get lighter. But it looks like your puppy will have a nice short fluffy coat like mine, it'll probably get wavy as it changes to adult fur and not look as much like velvet

What is the dad? I see rottie and Boston terrier. If rottie, your baby should stay dark.
