Default howling?

so my pup got exposed to his first parade yesterday which was a great experience for him and he did awesome. when the fire truck went by with the sirens going off he did start howling like a wolf, which i have never heard him do before.

anyone else have a shepherd that can howl like a wolf? i thought it was hilarious.......but it probably hurt his ears some, but he sure wasnt scared of it.

My boy did not start howling until he was around 2 years old. My neighbors 3 chihauhua's do it every time that they hear a siren.

Default howling?

Fiona has not howled yet. Living in urban area there is lots of opportunity to hear sirens. I tried playing wolves howling on the tv. She just looks at them.

Tehya is the one leading the neighborhood howl-fest when the sirens go by! We also learned that Christmas carols can set her off...don't ask.
