What is a good weight for 4 month female puppy?
 

My puppy just turned 4 months on March 9th and as of yesterday she is 36.6 pounds.

I know by next Sunday she will be around 40 pounds then she will be 17 weeks in, is that considered overweight or a accurate weight?

My little guy just turned 18 weeks old last thursday and he weighed 34 lbs
 

i dont put too much stock into overweight/underweight as each dog is unique as it is. as long as he isnt so beefed up that you cant feel his ribs then you should be ok

My girl just turned 17 weeks yesturday and at the vets 4 days ago she was 30.6lbs I think each dog is different and it also depends on their height too, cause just like in humans for a woman at say 160lbs and 5'8 is going to be considered differently than a woman the same weight and say 5'3

Don't worry about numbers - I never weighed any of my pups or young dogs

Can you see the last 2 ribs? Feel the spine and hip bones easily? See a nice tight underline? Is the skin around the neck and chest tight? If yes, dog is fine. If no, it's too fat.
