Just rescued- was told he was PB

So this is Micah. I have questions about whether or not he is actually purebred as I was told. They claim he is about 10 weeks old and weighs about 8.6 lbs. He is not underweight from what I can tell but he does not at all seem 10 weeks. My last PB GSD which bigger than him at 7 weeks old so either he is mixed with something smaller or is much younger than was stated. He has VERY small ears. Not the sattelite like ears that PB GSD's always have. He seems to have the traditional marking of a black and cream GSD or possibly tan. He looks so young and it so fragile feeling. This site is giving me troubles with the image uploader so i was only able to get one photo.

If he was from a rescue or shelter they might have guessed wrong on the age. He looks like just a baby.

Looks purebred, but not ten weeks old. My guess is closer to six or seven weeks of age.

Agree with everyone else. I think he's PB, but probably around 7-8 weeks old??

Leo looked exactly like that almost at 6 weeks.

He looks like he is 7-8 weeks to me, we just got Zeus and he is way bigger at 8 weeks. Anyways he looks like our black/red! what a little cutie! Congrats!
