Meet Loki!
 

Hey everyone, we picked up Loki about a month ago when he was 8 weeks. He was born on 12/12/12! Thanks to everyone for their help picking the right breeder.

He is quite a handful! Fully experiencing the landshark phase right now.

Just a quick question, how strict should I be while walking him on leash? I'm teaching him leave it for when he tries to pick up anything and everything on the sidewalk and he is getting a lot better just walking by me with slack on the leash, but I'm not sure if he is missing out on the joy of smelling and experiencing everything?

I think I'm in love. What a cutie!

Loki is adorable! Congrats! :) To your question... what I did for Diesel was we would take "sniff breaks" so a few times in our walk I would stop and let her sniff around of course where I didnt see anything around that she would snatch up, and after maybe a minute or two we would move on and I would not let her stop and sniff until I said so and had another sniff break... that way she got to still sniff and explore the world around her but also I kept her safe :) Hope that helps

WOW! So cute... I said I'd never want another puppy now that Draven is 7months... but I take one look at that first picture and melt!

What a cutie. Love the GSd all of the time but when they are baby puppies ,whee they rule.Have fun.

He is a cutie. I let Fiona sniff then count to three aloud. She knows when I get to three it is time to go.
