Make a decision to get a new puppy and put the date a few months (or years) away. I swear, I don't know how I'm going to make it a whole year! This is going to be the longest year of my life!

A whole year - that is a long time to wait, but I'm sure it will be worth it for you. In the meantime you have Casey to keep you company.

Yes, Casey does keep me busy lol. I'm excited to give her a buddy to play with too, she never had a partner since she's been with us.
And rescue volunteer is a good idea too. My work has a program where you can trade a certain number of work hours at a charity, think I'm gonna do that!
