1st night out of the crate

Ben turned 7 months old friday. Last night we let him stay out of the crate all night. He was fine. Was worried about what I might get up to, but all is well. No noise, messes, or destruction. I am sure it helps having a 4 year old dog to show him the ropes, but I am quite happy. He truly amazes me. Seems like he just knows. So far everything we have done for the first time has gone well. Going out in public, going to work with me, training, etc. He seems to know how to act in new situations and behaves well. I couldn't be happier with him.

Good boy Ben (love the name). He sounds like an awesome pup

My boy was around the same age when we held our breath & started leaving him out at night. He was fine & makes his rotations at night checking on everyone.

Thank you Courtney. I am biased, but he has been pretty awesome. We have a Bo (standard poodle), Ben, and this fall, Bailey (gsd) from the same parents as Ben.
