Ear size for tattoo??
 

Hi,

I was looking for some sort of guidelines/specifications about the minimum area needed to tattoo a puppy's ear. As I remember it's only about an inch and needs to be above the cartilage and in the middle of the ear, it can't go to the edge.
Is there a documents out there?

i got my pup when he was 9 weeks old. my
breeder tattooed him (right ear).

Nice link, Sunflowers! I think I'm going to order the kit and do Grim myself. I will ask the vet to knock him out first, though, LOL!

Just wondering if it would be possible to tattoo at 7 weeks or if the ear might be too small?
